As part of the Provincial five priority concretes towards radical Socio-Economic Transformation, the Departments of Health and Social Development hosted a Show which was led by the Hon. Premier and his Provincial Executive as pronounced in State of Provincial Address 2016. The show was geared towards enhancing partnerships with private sector, academia, relevant industries and other key stakeholders.
The Health & Social Development Show afforded The Aurum Institute the opportunity to showcase their products, services and best practice capabilities to students, stakeholders and broader members of the community. During the third day of the show, SABC Morning Live broadcasted live from the Mafikeng Mmabatho Convention Centre where Aurum was given the opportunity to explain their business proposition and offer to the Provincial Governments & Departments - At this stage, the Aurum booth was also displayed.
The overall theme of “Healthy Living for All” prevailed, with emphasis on Prevention, Promotion and Protection of optimal health for all, through a Transformative and developmental approach.
Different key stakeholders and partners, i.e private business, academia and professional bodies also showcased their best practices and innovations at different booths.
Overall, the 3-day show was a huge success, with big thanks to the Aurum Public Relations Team led by Ms Helen Kisbey-Green (Director: Public Relations & Special Projects) and the Aurum Mafikeng Team led by Mr Bulelani Kuwane (Managing Director: Health Systems Division) for setting up the booth and availing themselves at the booth during the course of the show.
