What We Do

We are a proudly South African, public-benefit organisation with over 19 years' experience in leading the response, treatment and research efforts to eradicate TB and HIV. We have been working quietly alongside government, the mining industry, among NGO's and in communities to better understand the epidemics to provide real solutions.

The M&E Technical Assistance Department provides capacity building and technical assistance with data analysis, results frameworks, M&E tools and institutional performance management.

Who We Are

The Aurum Institute Monitoring and Evaluation Technical Assistance department is managed by Ms Sue le Roux – HOD: Monitoring & Evaluation. We are a small team from diverse backgrounds who are committed to improving the consumption and analysis of data for programme planning and implementation.

The focus of the Department is to provide technical support to government officials who are involved in monitoring HIV and TB programmes at sub-district, district and provincial level, and to build long-term sustainable government capacity around M&E. A secondary focus is to provide similar support to Aurum to ensure that the organisation has a reputation for M&E excellence.
