Tuberculosis (TB) remains a tremendous global public health challenge. TB Preventive Therapy (TPT) has demonstrated ~60-70% efficacy for reducing TB incidence.
At the high level UN meeting of 40 countries, including South Africa, in September 2018, a commitment was made to support an additional 30 million people to receive TPT.

Dr Charalambous will review evidence for TPT and the recent advances in regimens, including the new 3HP and 1HP regimens, and how these relate to options of differentiated service delivery in the field of TPT.
