As South Africa moves towards the rollout of lenacapavir, the conversation is shifting from availability to how this new HIV prevention option can reach the people who need it.
Aurum Senior Technical Director Jacqueline Pienaar continues to contribute to this conversation. In a recent Rural Health Advocacy Project (RHAP) discussion, she highlighted the importance of being implementation-ready and bringing prevention services closer to communities.
Jacqueline also emphasised the potential to integrate lenacapavir into existing sexual and reproductive health services, helping make HIV prevention more accessible and responsive to people’s needs.
