61,000 Girls and Young Women reached with the DREAMS core package in Ekurhuleni
More than 12,000 AGYW (10-24) learned of their HIV status through community- based testing services.
More than 400 AGYW received at least the minimum package of Post-Violence Care Services.
Nearly 19,500 adolescent girls (10-19) participated in school- based HIV prevention and/or social assets building programmes.
Over 15,000 AGYW accessed SRHR Services including contraceptive methods mix.
Almost 14,500 adolescent girls received material support or educational subsidies including provision of school uniforms, dignity packs containing toiletries, and assistance obtaining personal identification documents.
Over 400 AGYW completed ASPIRES, a financial capability programme that equips participants with the skills in saving, employability, and entrepreneurship.
Over 300 community members in Ekurhuleni have successfully completed the SASA! programme, which equips communities to tackle gender inequality and gender-based violence. These community members include ward councillors, community leaders, community health workers, and parents/caregivers.
3,000 Community members reached with Norms Change, Community Mobilisation, and Parenting programmes
Nearly 500 parents and caregivers completed “Let’s Talk”, a programme that helps parents and teens build healthy relationships with one another and openly discuss sensitive topics (e.g. HIV, sex, peer pressure).
