The team at Aurum's Tembisa Clinical Research Site was recently the recipient of a generous donation of 100 goggles from GHI Architectural Solutions.
It is one of the three Aurum sites participating in the CoVPN 5001 study. Taking place on three continents, this is to understand early SARS-CoV-2 infection and the body’s early immune responses to the virus that causes COVID-19 illness.
With personal protective equipment still in high demand, this donation will go a long way in ensuring Aurum staff are safe as they conduct the clinical trials.
The donation was presented by Clinton Bunch, Managing Director at GHI and received by Aurum's Louise Pretorius, Quality Manager and John Mdluli, Head of Department: Community.
