In celebration of global efforts towards ending TB tuberculosis (TB) on World Tuberculosis Day, Fundação Aurum, alongside the Maputo City Council hosted the Costa do Sol Av. Marginal Health Fair in dedication to community health and engagement, inspiring others to join the movement towards a healthier, happier future.
The event was a commitment to health screening and education. With TB at the forefront, the community had the opportunity to undergo TB screening, along with HIV testing, nutritional assessments, and screenings for hypertension and diabetes. This proactive approach not only promoted early detection but also empowered individuals to take charge of their health journey.
Additionally, aerobics sessions encouraged participants to break a sweat and get their hearts pumping, along with a friendly competition in beach volleyball. It was a reminder that staying active can be both enjoyable and beneficial for overall well-being.
This health fair became a symbol of unity, resilience, and progress in the efforts to end TB and other health challenges.
